"NORTH COAST SURF"
12" x 16" original oil on hardboard. This painting was done as a 1 1/2
hour demonstration oil in front of an audience of about 35 people at the Paradise Art Center. A few finishing
touches were later added in my studio.

I have pleasant memories of walking along beaches and having them all to myself especially in the early morning hours or better yet in the winter. Shell collecting is at it's best then as the beaches are deserted and winter storms bring up lots to pick from. These 6" x 12" oil paintings on hardboard is a series that I have done from my fond memories of my walks in the surf in solitude and peace.
